Who owns the cloud accounts — you, or them?
Yours, from the first day. The system is built inside your own accounts, on your billing, with your keys. There is no migration at the end, because nothing was ever anywhere else.
If they disappear tomorrow, can someone else take over?
Everything is documented and built on a standard, widely-used stack, so any competent developer could pick it up. That is a constraint the work is held to, not a promise made about it.
When do I first see something working?
The first working week ends with something deployed that you can click. Every week after that ends the same way. Progress is judged on software, not on a status report.
Who actually writes the code — the person I am talking to, or someone I will never meet?
The person you are talking to. There is no team behind the curtain, no account manager in the middle, and nobody your work gets handed down to.
What happens to my code if I stop paying?
You keep it. All rights assign to you on payment, and paused weeks are banked for six months rather than forfeited. Stopping costs you the future work, never the work already done.
What will it cost in total — not per month?
You get a one-page build plan with milestones and a good-faith duration range before you subscribe, so the total is a range you can see up front. It is re-checked at every milestone, in the open.
